Crowns

When teeth are cracked or too damaged to repair with bonding alone the exposed portion of the tooth is removed and a crown made of a porcelain material, molded from the original tooth, is bonded to the remaining tooth structure.

Bridges

Where teeth are missing, replacement teeth made of a porcelain material can be "bridged" or bonded between neighboring, healthy teeth.
